Boston Celtics vs Los Angeles Lakers

Boston Celtics take the Los Angeles Lakers 92-86 in the 5th game of the NBA finals. The Celtics at 3-2 are just one win away from the NBA Championship.
The Lakers were out of sync most of the night. Whether or not there is a game 7 will depend on how they bring it in game 6.

Boston has been bringing their A game all the way. They beat the Cleveland Cavaliers, the team with the best record in the regular season. They beat the Orlando Magic, the team with the second best record in the regular season. If they beat the Lakers, they will become the third team to beat the teams with the first, second and third best records in the regular season and win the NBA Championship.

Paul Pierce with 27 points, his best performance of this year’s finals, and the Celtics held off the barrage of 38 points by Kobe Bryant.

The name heard the loudest throughout the game was Rondo, Rondo, Rondo who made 18 points and 8 assists.

Rajon Rondo is the best player to this point in the 2010 NBA playoffs. No matter what end of the court he’s on, he gets the ball, moves it down the court and gets it to the goal either with his own hands or by passing it to a team member. He is fast, alert and well in tune with the game and his team.

“I think he’s one of the best, and I say that because he plays both ends of the floor extremely well,” said Los Angeles superstar Kobe Bryant. “He can do certain things offensively. I think defensively is where he really has a big impact on the game, as well.”
