NFL Lockout – Can They Come To An Agreement?
The NFL Lockout… There must be a solution.
In order to save the NFL 2011 season there must be compromises between all parties involved. They are all adults. They know the importance or working together for the better common good, at least I sure hope so. Talk it out, negotiate, make a deal that all can live with.
We’ve all wondered what would happen if they don’t come to terms.
What would we do without America’s favorite sport? What would come of all involved in NFL Football from the players, the coaches, the news commentators, the merchandiser’s, the fans and everyone else involved?
We want our preseason, post season and Super Bowl and all the other bowls. We want our Sunday night, Monday night and Thursday night games. We want our weekends and week nights and every game in between.
Hope comes from ESPN.com
There is a growing belief inside league circles that the NFL and NFL Players Association will have an agreement in place that can be ratified during the July 21 league meetings in Atlanta, according to sources familiar with the state of negotiations.
….
Other people familiar with the talks now think an agreement in principle will be put in place in the next seven to 10 days, a handshake deal that would allow each side to ratify the deal to start the 2011 season.
It sounds like it might be possible for the NFL preseason to start on time or close and that the training camps may have some time for practice and putting their players in order, but if there’s any delay, it will make it very difficult as the staff will already be scrambling to pull their teams together in time for preseason kickoff.
