Volkswagen is looking to over over three times as many cars as they do today in the US each year. Chattanooga, TN seems to be ground zero for this expansion. Information of the VW Chattanooga manufacturing plant have been found at VW GoA (Volkswagen Group of The States). This new car manufacturing facility will produce a new VW automobile designed specifically for the US market. Volkswagen is expected to invest $1 billion dollars into the economy creating 2,000 new jobs, and is expected to possess a 150,000 vehicle production capacity at this new plant. Production is currently expected to start in 2011 at this new American car plant. It’s been said that VW’s target is to triple their US consumer base within the next ten years.

The Philadelphia Eagles starting quarterback, Michael Vick is getting endorsements again.
Vick’s first endorsement he appeared in a TV commercial for Woodbury Nissan in Woodbury, N.J. He did not get paid for it, but he did get free use of a customized Nissan Armada worth $54,000.
Today it will be announced that Vick signed a two-year deal to endorse Unequal Technologies, a sports gear manufacturer for protective, shock absorbing padding for athletes.

From 1949 through 1976, the championship trophy for the NBA finals’ winner was the same from year to year, changing hands each time a new team achieved championship status.
Between 1949 and 1963, the original trophy was simply called the NBA Finals trophy; however, in 1964 it was renamed in honor of Walter A. Brown following his death that same year. Brown was the first owner of the Boston Celtics and an instrumental figure in the merging of the Basketball Association of America (BAA) and National Basketball League (NBL) to form the NBA in 1949.
The Jets and Steelers are facing off for the top spot in the AFC playoffs at Pittsburgh this coming Sunday. The big question is which team will going to the Super Bowl?

The rules for NFL End Zone Celebrations have gone too far.
NFL celebrations have been entertaining fans since 1965 when the New York Giants wide receiver Homer Jones made the first “spike” in the end zone.
The first end zone dance was performed by Houston Oilers wide receiver Billy “White Shoes” Johnson when began doing the “Funky Chicken” during his rookie year in 1974
Touchdown dances and celebrations have evolved over the years becoming more and more elaborate from the spikes to the dances. Many are choreographed and practiced to be executed with perfection.
What a day for Donovan McNabb and the Washington Redskins. McNabb received a standing ovation from the Eagles fans before the game started and then led the Redskins to a 17-12 victory.
The Philadelphia Eagles recruited McNabb in the 1999 draft where he spent his first 11 seasons. Donovan was the Eagles starting quarterback until he was traded to the Washington Redskins in 2010.
