In order to save the NFL 2011 season there must be compromises between all parties involved. They are all adults. They know the importance or working together for the better common good, at least I sure hope so. Talk it out, negotiate, make a deal that all can live with.
We’ve all wondered what would happen if they don’t come to terms.
What would we do without America’s favorite sport? What would come of all involved in NFL Football from the players, the coaches, the news commentators, the merchandiser’s, the fans and everyone else involved?
If you’ve kept up with the news at all, you’ve probably seen a lot of coverage about Pete Rose and whether or not he belongs in Cooperstown. My thoughts about this issue will follow.
Rose was exiled from baseball after being caught gambling on games involving a team he managed about 20 years ago. While he violated a code of conduct, this has nothing to do with anything done while he was a professional baseball player.
Another reason I believe that Pete should be let in is that even though he did bet on the game of baseball, it was after he even quit playing. So a lifetime ban was a little to harsh, don’t you think?
Neftali Feliz: Any player that can regularly pitch 100 mph fastballs has the chance to dominate in the majors. As long as his arm stays strong, he can easily do this.
Gordon Beckham. A true five-tooler in every sense of the world when it comes to baseball. From fielding, to hitting, to speed (which happens to be exceptional), Beckham has one of the brightest futures in major league baseball.
Justin Smoak – Man, this guy is a big bopper. He has power and he has a glove. I wouldn’t be surprised if he won a few home run derbys before it’s all said and done. He will be a huge impact player.
Buddy Nix, Buffalo’s newly appointed general manager makes swift changes in Bills’ coaching staff.
ORCHARD PARK — Around the NFL, the first day following the end of the regular season has become known as Black Monday because, on average in recent years, about six head coaches lose their jobs.
Black Monday was particularly black in Buffalo because not only was interim head coach Perry Fewell handed his walking papers, so was the entire coaching staff as new general manager Buddy Nix let it be known in a swift and decisive manner that there’s a new man running the show, and the status quo isn’t good enough.
Miami Dolphins rookie quarterback Pat White was carted off the field on a backboard during Sundays game against Pittsburgh.
White collided with Steelers’ cornerback Ike Taylor in an unnerving helmet-to-helmet hit heard across Land Shark Stadium. Players from both teams motioned for help as football took a backseat. Silence overtook the stadium while everyone both on and off the field waited for one thing, to see White move.
“It’s bone-chiling almost,” Dolphins offensive guard Nate Garner said. “Seeing someone laying there motionless. It’s very scary.”
Not all NFL games are seen on television. Depending on where you live, if you don’t have the NFL Network , you aren’t going to see some games. If the seats aren’t sold out on a game aired on the NFL Network, then a game cannot be shown on local broadcasting Networks. This was the case of Thursday nights game between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Indianapolis Colts.
If Time Warner and the NFL Network don’t come to terms, will the Jaguars move to a new location?
Watch Bloomberg’s Michele Steele report on the NFL Network and it’s restricted availability due to unresolved pricing issues with some cable companies.
Some of the seasons biggest and most anticipated NFL games are not available to some television viewers. If you live in an area that does not have access to the NFL Network, you are not going not going to be able to see some games.
When a game is aired on the NFL Network, but the seats are not sold out then that game cannot be shown on local broadcasting Networks. This is how many people missed Thursday nights game between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Indianapolis Colts.
Ware suffered a neck injured when he and San Diego’s Brandyn Dombrowski collided during Sunday nights game. He was strapped to a cart and immobilized, but gave the demonstrative thumbs-up and showed some movement in his legs as he was removed from the field.
Ware left a Dallas area hospital Sunday night and was resting at home The Dallas Morning Newsreported and Jerry Jones said that “doctors felt good” about his prognosis.
Chad Ochocinco is donating dinero to the NFL yet again.

The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the league has not made any announcement about the fine. The punishment was first reported by ESPN.com.
