During the third quarter Rondo got tangled up with Miami Heat’s Dwyane Wade coming down full force on his left elbow causing it to hyper-extend. He was removed from the game and taken to the locker room to be examined.

What a day for Donovan McNabb and the Washington Redskins. McNabb received a standing ovation from the Eagles fans before the game started and then led the Redskins to a 17-12 victory.
The Philadelphia Eagles recruited McNabb in the 1999 draft where he spent his first 11 seasons. Donovan was the Eagles starting quarterback until he was traded to the Washington Redskins in 2010.

Ravens starting safety Ed Reed is considering early retirement from the NFL.
For two years Reed has been suffering from a nerve impingement in his neck that has shown little to no improvement.
Coach John Harbaugh stated that he beleives Reed will return for the 2010 season.
Reed was picked by the Baltimore Ravens during the NFL draft in 2002. He currently holds franchise records for career interceptions (45) and interception-return yards in a single game (150) and has scored a total of 13 touchdowns in his career—3 blocked punts, 1 punt return, 2 fumble returns and 7 interception returns.
The Baltimore Ravens took a lot of bumps when it came to penalties being called and flags fell like rain in several games.
Ozzie Newsome was asked about the pass interference penalties that took place over the last season and how it seemed there were considerable inconsistancies in the calls.
The competition committee is the group who suggests rule changes for the NFL and the Ravens’ GM Ozzie Newsome has been a long standing member since 2000.
The Vikings brought their “A” game today, but it looked like the Giants left theirs at home.
There didn’t seem to be any interest or effort from the New York Giants. There will probably be some major player changes soon to come, at least if they want more from their team there will be.
The Minnesota Vikings on the other hand played strong. Brett Farve was 25 of 31 for 316 yards and four touchdowns in Minnesota’s 44-7 win.
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — LeBron James’s 28 points Saturday keyed Cleveland’s 94-86 win over the NBA-worst New Jersey Nets.
James also contributed nine rebounds and seven assists as the Cavaliers won their seventh game in a row despite shooting just 39.5 percent from the field and making just 4-of-14 3-pointers.
Mo Williams, Anderson Varejao and Shaquille O’Neal also hit double figures for Cleveland.
The Nets, who have lost 11 of their last 12 games, got 22 points from Devin Harris and 20 from Brook Lopez.
The Oakland Raiders season finale against the Baltimore Ravens will be blacked out locally because they were unable to sell out their game by the deadline.
The Raiders on on their seventh consecutive blackout this season. Their last sell out was the season opener against the Chargers. Games need to be sold out 72 hours before kickoff in order to avoid a local 75-mile radius blackout. Oakland has not had this many blackout since the seven in 1997.
Washington Redskins’ Clinton Portis feels confident that even though his recent concussion is responsible for removing him from playing on the field for several games and ending his season early, it will not end his career.
The running back appeared at a charity event Tuesday and was asked about remarks he made last week, when he sounded as if he could be contemplating the end of his career.
Portis replied: “I don’t think for one second this could be career ending.”
Portis referred to his comments a week ago as the possible end of his career with the Washington Redskins and that he looking towards some big changes in the off season.
