Charlie Weis signed on with the Kansas City Chiefs as offensive coordinator. He’s come back to the NFL just about a month after being fired from Notre Dame.
Although Weis only had a so-so run with Notre Dame, his NFL record speaks for itself assisting in three Super Bowl victories with the New England Patriots.
Chiefs head coach Todd Haley used to take orders from Weis thirteen years ago, but now the tides have turned as Haley is the one who hired Weis.

The New England Patriots took a major step in wrapping up the AFC East Division on Sunday as they defeated the Buffalo Bills at Ralph Wilson Stadium 17-10. Both teams in second place in the Division the Miami Dolphins and the New York Jets also lost on Sunday giving the Patriots a 2 game lead in the Division with just 2 games left in the regular season. However if the way that New England performed against Buffalo is any indication of how they will play in the NFL Post Season; expect the Patriots to be eliminated in their first game.

Not all NFL games are seen on television. Depending on where you live, if you don’t have the NFL Network , you aren’t going to see some games. If the seats aren’t sold out on a game aired on the NFL Network, then a game cannot be shown on local broadcasting Networks. This was the case of Thursday nights game between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Indianapolis Colts.
If Time Warner and the NFL Network don’t come to terms, will the Jaguars move to a new location?
Watch Bloomberg’s Michele Steele report on the NFL Network and it’s restricted availability due to unresolved pricing issues with some cable companies.

Drew Bledsoe was the quarterback. Gregg Williams was the head coach. They were the last two figures at the helm in Buffalo the last time the Bills defeated the New England Patriots. It was the opening weekend of the 2003 season and it was probably the most memorable win of the decade for the Bills, as they stampeded over the Patriots, 31-0. And that was the last time Buffalo beat New England.

The Indianapolis Colts remain undefeated and broke the NFL record for consecutive regular season wins in Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos 28-16.
Peyton Manning passed for four touchdowns, three to Dallas Clark, as Indianapolis eclipsed the New England Patriots’ string of 21 victories between 2006 and 2008.
The Colts (13-0) have not lost a regular season game since falling to the Tennessee Titans 31-21 in October 2008.
Indianapolis also wrapped up home-field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs and became the most successful NFL team in any decade with their 114th victory since 2000. The San Francisco 49ers held the previous record of 113 wins in the 1990s.

The Philadelphia Eagles have extended the contract of head coach Andy Reid through the 2013 season.
Reid, also the club’s executive vice president of football operations, is in his 11th season as the team’s head coach. He is the second-longest tenured coach in the NFL, behind only Jeff Fisher, who has been with Tennessee for 16 years.
“In every way he is the epitome of what you are looking for in a coach, he’s got passion and all the qualities you look for in a leader,” said Philadelphia owner Jeffrey Lurie. “Andy has said before that he loves it here and wants to remain here, so we got something done since there was no point in waiting.”
