The Baltimore Ravens are, what many sports enthusiasts would call, infants in the NFL. The originated in Cleveland, and after much debate, Art Modell finally got his wish of moving them to Baltimore. They did not have their own stadium, at first, so they plated in Memorial Stadium, home of the Colts. It only took two years for their stadium to be ready; although, the name of the stadium changed numerous times over the next ten years (it took some time for the team to settle in).

The Baltimore Ravens took a lot of bumps when it came to penalties being called and flags fell like rain in several games.
Ozzie Newsome was asked about the pass interference penalties that took place over the last season and how it seemed there were considerable inconsistancies in the calls.
The competition committee is the group who suggests rule changes for the NFL and the Ravens’ GM Ozzie Newsome has been a long standing member since 2000.

“Your name is all you have,” Erin Henderson told the Pioneer Press on Wednesday in the wake of being dealt a four game suspension by the NFL. “Because of that, I’ve always tried to hold myself to a higher standard.”
Henderson was suspended by the league for violating their performance-enhancing substance policies.
Henderson is not being shy about defending the name he and his brother E.J. hold in such importance. He insists that he did nothing to deserve the suspension and questions the accuracy of tests performed by the league.

Denver Broncos WR Brandon Marshall had a spectacular day in last weeks game against the Colts, yet according to the Denver Post, the franchise is sounding like he won’t continue with the club after his contract runs out.
The Broncos could pre-empt such bargaining leverage by opening talks on a long-term contract with Brandon Marshall. But the receiver has his doubts. “I think if they wanted to get something done, it would have been done already,” Marshall said. “But our ultimate goal is to win games and we have three of them left. Hopefully we can get that done. Regarding a contract, I think it’s best if I just play it out.” Marshall figures to become extremely wealthy, even by professional athlete standards. Wealthy, as in possibly the NFL’s highest-paid receiver.

The NFL fined Cowboys left tackle Flozell Adams $50,000 for his hit on Giants DE Justin Tuck, which led to a ruckus at the end of the first half of Sunday’s game.
Adams has already been fined $25,000 by the league this year for various incidents.
Jason La Canfora reports that Adams is in danger of being suspended by the NFL if he does not clean up his act.
With four games left in the season and the Cowboys in the thick of a playoff hunt, Adams’ teammates and coaches are likely telling “The Hotel” to play it cool.
